I can't get excited about the bland house music they used to play in 95% of the clubs I used to go to in my 20s. Dull dull dull. It definitely meanders and is far too long, but i wasn't bored. However,it is essentially the tale of a DJ who never hits the true heights, and neglects friends, lovers and family. And then it ends.
