A transplant from California, Dawn is a teen adjusting to life in small-town Massachusetts. As she adapts to her new school, Dawn quickly runs afoul of Mercedes, a catty popular girl who is not only unpleasant -- she has magical powers. When Dawn investigates this supernatural situation, she gets drawn into a struggle with Mercedes to possess a powerful enchanted stone. The devious Mercedes places Dawn under a sleeping spell, but the heroine isn't defeated that easily.

09/18/2010 How many teenage witch franchises were there in the 90s?! Ok, lets sum this up. Interesting premise: no. Original story: no. Interesting characters: no. Budget: hell no. Result: guess. See more 07/21/2009 I was excited to see A.J. Cook on the cast list because i loved her in Final Destination 2. That's probably the only reason I decided to watch this. The opening reminded me of TV Shows like Are You Afraid of The Dark or Goosebumps. It was just like that. I wasn't expecting it to be very good but the movie brought me back to the 90's and I really enjoyed it. Overall - good movie to watch if you feel like reminiscing.
