I think this maybe one of the most slept on trilogies in horror 🐺🌕🍷 See more Logan D @Greynomad38 Sep 9 In early 1800s Canada, two orphaned sisters (Katharine Isabelle and Emily Perkins) are orphaned and lost in the forest. They are rescued by a Native American hunter called The Hunter (Nathaniel Arcand) who takes them to a settler fort knowing it has issues. I enjoyed the first two entries in this trilogy but this is a dull and formulaic prequel that has little connection to the others. The sisters have the exact first names without explanation and Ginger hardly snaps in this one. The plot and characters are way undercooked, the scares undercooked, and it lacks the tension a horror film should have. Not recommended. You should only bother with this movie just to say you've seen all three flicks in the series. The storyline is confusing at best, and there's a number of times where the characters use modern day lingo making the whole thing feel more like a fever dream than... whatever this is supposed to be.
