Huesera is an adeptly made film backed by a wonderful central peformance. It really pulls the viewer in and lands shocking imagery in its conclusion... Huesara is absolutely worth watching with a stunner of an ending.

*SPOILER* Lacking in a lot of areas, concept was mediocre because I don't like horrors that include random cliches associated with horror movies like broken bones and contorting bodies etc without context. The part about her sexuality and the alt scene in Mexico was interesting and I liked the ending because she left to pursue her own life. Maybe the faceless/genderless bodies was to do with her refusal to accept her sexuality and her pregnancy triggered some sort of psychosis? She clearly did not enjoy sex with her husband at the start and it seemed like a chore. I did like some aspects that relates to post-partum psychosis like the fridge scene because of the impact of sleep deprivation on mums but not my type of horror film.

Its nothing special at all, its too high up in my opinion. I think its good to watch while doing other things but the story itself doesnt really make you want to keep watching. The idea is ok but just not a movie i would spend my time recommending

Siendo sincero, no entiende el por qué esta película es elogiada y está en la categoría de horror y horror corporal. muy suaves con este y con una trama no clara, innovadora ni mucho menos entretenida. Lo poco rescatable es la escenografía y la cámara. pd: Sé que hace alegoría a esa ansiedad que se puede adquirir y la necesidad de buscar una identidad, pero muy mala pelicula.

Unsettling, but not in an “enjoyable” way. I really tried to like this film but found the lead to be entirely unlikable in every way! I hear that some people absolutely love this movie but I found it extremely mediocre.

Mis expectativas en películas de terror ya son bajas, pero esta se sintió muy lineal de principio a fin no hay sustos, revelaciones o desenlaces que hagan cambiar el ritmo de la película casi como ver un protector de pantalla con movimiento por hora y media
