As a father-daughter love story there is enough spunk in it to warrant a viewing. There is a newness with which this love story is tackled, and though there are times when the narrative slumps it still has its heartwarming moments .

"Jawaani Jaaneman" is not the first dramedy of its kind, but it is a decent one that is fairly harmless. The movie's story isn't very engaging since similar movies have been done before, but I still thought it was light and funny. The movie is meant to be warmhearted and enjoyable fun, which is I think it succeeds in at least some aspects. Overall, this movie won't change your life, but I think it is a decent way to kill some time and check out one time.

Such a gem of a movie. A bright spot in the time of Covid-19. The performances were wonderful all around and the actors played off of each other really well. I especially enjoyed the film having a Punjabi family, but not letting them fall prey to stereotypes, like the traditional rona dhona over unwed parenthood. The only downside is that the ending felt a bit rushed and convenient, but still feel-good.
