The whole film overall was a profound experience. I found myself still thinking about the film days after I saw it — it still resonated with me, in the same way that [Avengers:] Endgame resonated. Go to Full Review

While this wasn't the best DC Animated film Warner Bros. has released, it's epic scale and ending will still please any comic book fan. Go to Full Review

A faithful adaptation this is not, obviously, since there was really no way it could have been. But in the spirit of balls-to-the-wall crossover climaxes, this film makes quite a case for itself. Go to Full Review

Matt B @RT90586608 9h Two words: Gore Porn. People like to conflate sad stories with edgy undertones as deep and meaningful however things are not deep simply because they are sad they still have to be given meaning, theme, and view just as any "happy" story would. Furthermore, Justice League Dark: Apokolips War is self undermining due to the nature of the DC franchise. You can’t expect an audience to experience the tragedy of complete annihilation in a world where there is an "evergreen status quo". A story that tells of extreme grief, suffering, and eventual survival to overcome it all loses all meaning when the story must be reset at the very end to maintain the franchise that needs to sell more stories. To paraphrase one of the shows own writers, violence without purpose, without true meaning becomes pornographic. Directed by Matt Peters and Christina Sotta, the movie is known for its dark tone, mature themes, and large cast, concluding a storyline that began with Justice League: The Flashpoint Paradox. Cast: Feat See more Tony L. @Tony_MovieBuff Jun 6 Dc’s most serious film. An amazing, yet tragic way to end an era of an animated universe to give birth to another. The death of several characters hits hard and the ending gets the waterworks flowing. What a conclusion to an era for DC.
