[E]ven while it's apparently not what its creators intended, Knights Of Badassdom is perfectly enjoyable in a low-key way, with sharp performances [...] and a nigh-endless string of cameos Go to Full Review

"Knights of Badassdom" actually delivers everything the 2011 Danny McBride-James Franco comedy "Your Highness" purported to be but fell short on. Go to Full Review

A one-note joke and a whiff of a story that fails to offer a single reason - literal or metaphorical - why dressing up as a fictional character is enjoyable or rewarding. Go to Full Review

Supernatural slasher haunts a live-action role-playing game. The cast is clearly having fun, but none of it rubs off on us; Peter Dinklage and Steve Zahn are completely squandered. Go to Full Review

Knights Of Badassdom is an uneven creepy concoction but still somewhat excels at mixing its cheesy lampooning of LARP-oriented escapism with the cliched grossness of tired horror flicks. It is feisty and joyously absurd Go to Full Review

What's great about this movie is the way it remains so gentle and light, despite tackling a story that could get pretty dark. Go to Full Review

Kevin H @ArcaneGeek 23h Knights of Badassdom is in no way a blockbuster. What it is, though, is a thoroughly enjoyable romp through a stylized LARP culture, led by actors who fully commit to the premise and their characters. Peter Dinklage gets to flex his action hero muscles as "Hung", while being so charming you can't help but love him. Summer Glau gets to play Gwen as the cool veteran with a heart of solid gold. Hot and cool at the same time. Ryan Kwanten is playing Ryan Kwanten, but in this production it works. Likely underrated is the performance of Steve Zahn as the bumbling "wizard", Eric. Eric is lovable and fits perfectly into this world. Mixing shenanigans, innuendo, and playfulness with eldritch horror shouldn't work this well. And the ending surely inspired the awesome but tragic sacrifice of Eddie Munson in Stranger Things season 4. Special effects are good enough. But, the stars are the script and the fully committed acting. A must see. See more Henry G Aug 31 This is exactly what I needed to watch on a lazy Sunday afternoon. See more Mark B @Mbindon 04/04/2024 Really stupid fun watch. It is not a "good" movie but at 85 minutes it is just a fun ride. Steve , Peter Dinklage and Summer Glau what is not to like. See more Krystle B 02/03/2024 This is one of those movies that is so bad that it's good. It stars a bunch of great actors and had some really memorable scenes/lines. It truly is a cult classic.
