03/29/2012 Worth watching it :D See more 11/14/2011 A very fast paced thriller with an engaging plot featuring poor lead but excellent support performances. Ashwin (Jeeva) is a photo journalist who captures a bank robbery on camera and becomes famous. Based on his footage, 3 of the 4 robbers are nabbed and the leader of the pack is still at large. Vasanth (Ajmal Ameer) is a budding young politician unable to penetrate his following into the thickly corrupt political system on whom Ashwin sympathizes with. A huge explosion takes place during Vasanth's election campaign during which a few of his team and Ashwin's close friend Saro (Piaa Bajpai) dies. With the sympathy garnered from this episode, Vasanth's party wins a landslide. After he assumes power, Ashwin finds out Vasanth is not the man he portrays him to be. Though Jeeva and Karthika are the lead characters but with a little scope to act but Ajmal and Piaa grab their opportunities with both hands and deliver a surprising and fantastic performance. The writing is honest for most part except at the end where it turns out to be your regular South Indian commercial extravaganza. Though not spectacular, it is a shame even movies of this quality are rare here. Watch them as they come. See more 11/12/2011 intelligent and gripping.
