Cameron Edwin (Jim Gaffigan), the host of a failing children's science TV show called "Above & Beyond", has always had aspirations of being an astronaut. After a mysterious space-race era satellite coincidentally falls from space and lands in his backyard, his midlife crisis manifests in a plan to rebuild the machine into his dream rocket. As his relationship with his wife (Rhea Seehorn) and daughter (Katelyn Nacon) start to strain, surreal events begin unfolding around him -- a doppelgänger moving into the house next door, a car falling from the sky, and an unusual teenage boy forging a friendship with him. He slowly starts to piece these events together to ultimately reveal that there's more to his life story than he once thought.

The ending for me is an absolute pay-off, which, of course, I will not give away. Jim Gaffigan, Rhea Seehorn, and Tony Shalhoub are some of these great actors that you really love seeing play, and play-off each other... I call it [the movie] a hidden gem.

Such a great, wholesome story with many connecting themes. I fear people won't see this film because it doesn't have major backing. I am so grateful to the filmmakers for pushing through and getting this film created and released. Was a pleasure.

While I enjoy a layered film, this one was disjointed and had no emotional impact. I didnt care about the characters and so didnt make the effort to unravel the convoluted plot. I wish I had the two hours of my life back.

everything except the music score the script, actors, lighting, camera work, physical settings were immaculate the music composition was technically beautiful, but overplayed, and over loud when it did not need to be the plot is not so complicated that the music had to foreshadow as much as it did
