It was okay. But the director failed to reign in the young actress playing Jo. She was unlikeable. Rather than being passionate and a little rebellious but loveable, this Jo is abrasive, selfish, shallow and mean. I found myself wanting to tell her to chill out and stop overacting. Drama queen.

Enjoyable modern adaptation of Little Women. The only thing really wrong with it was the abysmal casting of Laurie. Still shaking my head over who thought that actor was right for that role. And the professor was too handsome. It hits all the other notes though.
