Jodi 10/27/2023 Moana is absolutely destined to be a classic Disney film that will last through generations! This film is just so beautifully done, and so enjoyable, even for adults that don’t have children! There are so many positive messages without all the ridiculous fluff that accompanies a lot of other Disney animated films especially ones with princesses. Barf. Moana story is inspiring to any little girls showing them that they can believe in themselves and be whoever they’re meant to be love love love this film! See more Barnabas loos 10/23/2023 half way through the movie the theater lights turn back on and the movie stopped playing due to a huge rainstorm that was accruing outside apparently the who movie theater was shut down and they couldn't get any of the movies back on line most of everyone in the theater just ended up leaving I tried to get a refund but they said no due to it being passed the time to get one but we never got to see the rest of the movie I knew it was going to rain but I didn't think that it would of had that kind of affect on a whole theater the way that it did unless they have bad wiring in and out of the place or leaks that where coming through the ceiling into electrical equipment idk but it was wired and it was my first time being at this one despite driving passed this one for over 30 years I still would of liked a refund though I didn't even get to finish my drink that I had gotten just minutes before hand See more Katie D 03/15/2021 So good! the music reminded me of a combination of The Little Mermaid and Frozen - both favorites. See more Atmospheric E @Atmospheric Jul 21 Animated fantasy movie set in Ancient Polynesia in which the young daughter of the chief of the island of Motunui Moana is chosen by the ocean to restore the heart of Te Fiti the goddess of creation, which was taken from her by demigod Maui in time past to give humanity the power of creation. But Maui’s actions have caused Te Fiti to die and the fire demon Te Kā to take her place and devastate Motunui in Te Fiti's absence. Moana must set out by boat onto the ocean to find Maui, restore Te Fiti’s heart and save her island from destruction by Te Ka. An excellent film which tells a well realised story of a likeable young female heroine who chooses doing the right thing over duty. It is also a tale of friendship, overcoming self-doubt and responsibility. With a stimulating narrative and an intelligent ending which is why I watch films, this was an exemplar film that although targeted at a young audience adults will enjoy as well. Recommended.
