The girl who played Cleo killed it, while Frankie's actor the motions and the obliviousness was so good. I thought Draculaura Looked cute, the actor was adorable. I can't comment on her acting because we didn't see much of her. Deuce I liked his hair, but the snakes looked weird on his face. Not natural, the rest of the actors did okay. I feel like they could have done better but they didn't do horrible imo. I do get that most people will hate this movie but remember it's for the new generation and honestly most of us grew up with Camp Rock and High School musical which were silly and cringe but we loved it. Let's have the new generation enjoy their own silly and cringey movies. Therefore I think this is worth the watch. It's entertaining, funny, and teaches children acceptance. Who made this and actually thought “yeah now that’s a top selling movie” - actual embarrassment not a movie. Pure laziness. If you’re gonna make a live action then make it GOOD. No one has ever looked at monster high before this movie was made and decided it needed changing, Changing Draculaura to a half witch makes no sense, her personality changing along with Frankie’s. Genuinely terrible! Me and my older sister attempted to watch this and just had to turn it off through the middle of it because it was just that corny. There is so much wasted potential, I was super excited when I heard that there was a monster high movie coming out and to my utter disappointment I was faced with this slop of a movie. I recommend you watch this with your friends if you want to laugh because my is it just horrible! Lmao I had to make an entire account on this site just to leave a review on this very specific movie.
