See more Ryan H @RT93046783 Apr 30 This started out great. But from the first jump scare it went downhill fast. The script, the effects, the acting. I could see it was low budget. I wanted to quit, but stuck it out because of the high score on RT. I’m floored that it was so highly rated. The only good actor in the whole thing was the original owner. And why (spoilers ahead) would the crazy bin just let her take over the motel instead of coming back to a padded room? Acting was awful. Effects were laughable. I felt it was my duty to lower the score as much as possible. Actually, I take it back - I loved the rich couple too. Although I wish she would’ve killed them. I liked the writing and scare tactics - but around minute-21, I had guessed the ending. And MAN, was the execution of it horribly done. By the time I hit the "Open your mouth…" line, I basically just gave up. It was so corny, so riddled with holes in logic and so stupidly impossible (…professional physician and two unarmed "orderlies" show up to catch escaped, violent convicts? Lol.
