Rus S @Mr_Maybe 5d While the documentary is informative, and there is some great, rarely seen footage, it becomes almost unwatchable because the script is horrendous, and the narration almost as bad. It's like the script was written by someone with a bare-bones grasp of the English language. A few examples: "On July 16th, 1945 at 5:29AM in the morning...." "The meeting ended with all the allies aware of the new bomb and it's soon deployment in the Japanese theater." "Oppenheimer drove the 119 miles drive back to Los Alamos...." "Suddenly, Oppenheimer was now between a rock and a hard spot." "The task of unloading the bombs off the ship into a hangar was the task at hand." The narration feels like AI with weird inflection and awkward pauses. There are also places where the documentarians appear to be very new at their jobs, including very oddly lit interview subjects and even a woman interviewed in a bar that was open, so her serious subject matter was punctuated by someone else's laughter.
