See more David P @RT30044998 06/09/2024 I only saw part of it, but that was enough. It is an unhappy mix of Bridget Jones reincarnated as a teacher, and a dog film. If you love dogs, you might well love the film. I do not, and I did not find the pug to be interesting anyway. A lackluster story and a somewhat annoying female lead put the lid on this film. Good family entertainment, as they say, but not for me. Patrick the Pug tried to steal the movie from Beattie Edmondson, but he couldn't. Her comedic timing is too good. However, the dog is great also. Watch it free on Chicken Soup for the Soul.
