know exactly how to deliver what they promise, raise the stakes then give more than expected. It is a perfect blend of savvy, cynical marketing without sacrificing quality. Spectacular! Go to Full Review

Pitfall isn't the worst of its kind, but the script could have certainly been pared down to its most basic parts. Go to Full Review

You expect the characters to be subjected to bloodletting torture, but their encounters with a hooded psycho can't compare to the agony evoked through the low-IQ machinations of a quintet of 20-somethings so annoying you cheer for their rapid demise. Go to Full Review

Despite decent production values and a few impressively gnarly kills, Pitfall is one of the more unpleasant horror movies of the year. Go to Full Review

Kondelik does what he can to obscure his tiny budget and limited locations, and he delivers a reasonably effective nightmare in "Pitfall," which carries a bit more substance while still pursuing frights. Go to Full Review

Pitfall is Friday the 13th meets 127 Hours, with none of the cheap thrills of the former and nail-biting intensity of the latter. Go to Full Review

Tom 2d Awesome early summer survival horror jam See more Jayne G @Wheelygirl 49m Really liked this. Surprisingly emotional, lots of gore, brutality and intensity. Shout out to the composer for the brilliant score. Even the end credits kept my nerves twanging. I loved Richard Harmon before and the sardonic sarcasm he brings to this role delighted me. Did Lars have a crush on Ash? Enquiring minds want to know..... See more Raphael R @stabbedandbothered 1h A fun and bloody ride that keeps you entertained throughout. If you like backwoods slashers, you’ll love this one!! See more Brook H @RT50405263 10h I went into this movie with the anticipation of seeing one of my favorite actors on the screen again but I left very satisfied and enamored with the entire cast and crew as a whole. I love how everyone brought something to the table with their characters and it didn't convolute the movie as most tend to become when it comes to a colorful cast of characters. I found myself attached to everyone in the group and sitting on the edge of my seat hoping to see them at the end of the line. It was an unpredictable ride that was incredible to see on the big screen and I am just as enamored with it as I was sitting with my group of friends crowded around a small screen and squealing with delight to watch it all unfold. Huge kudos to everyone that made this film a reality and even bigger kudos for making it possible to watch it on the big screen in high definition! See more Amber .. @ambyspooks 16h Couldn’t help the Woodland vibes I got watching this. It’s always a delight to see Richard kill it as usual. Always carry bear spray kids, you never know when it’ll come in clutch. I’m giving it 🐻🐻🐻🐻🐻 Originally I saw this during PanicFest but my thoughts remain the same after seeing it in theaters which was definitely a treat. Loved, loved, loved this film! I highly recommend catching it on the big screen if you can. See more Glenn R. M @RT97584429 18h Loved it! Loved it! A fun ride from beginning to end. The suspense was great. The kills were fun and innovative. The action and pacing was fantastic. Totally on the edge of my seat. The psychological struggles within the characters were creative and complex. Even got a little sad and weepy for some of them. It's not often that you get sad or teary-eyed for characters in a horror genre movie. Again, totally loved it and hope there's a sequel in the future :) See more Read all reviews
