Annette A @aracha2026 4d As I watched Reckless, I felt like I was being dragged into a whole round-the-clock pursuit, and only a few seconds later, something else would come along. An ex-con desperately trying to come up with his missing portion of a pull-in, all while trying to beat the cops. That’s what it's about, and the plot moves at that tempo, too. The one thing that really stood out was the pictures of the energy. Action scenes are fast-paced, and there doesn't seem to be a slow period in the film that's boring, but the ones that do appear seem to do so without being drawn out. The lead performance was also a highlight to me due to how tough, yet funny the character is, as he's not just an average one of the pack, criminal on the run. But this story is rather simple. I could see that some twists were coming in early, and it doesn't attempt to be too complex. It is not a negative for the film, however, but aids in maintaining momentum and entertainment. The movie keeps a fast pace and doesn't waste much time getting into the action. There's a good mix of crime, comedy, and chaotic moments that kept me interested throughout. The action scenes were probably the strongest part for me, and the performances fit the style of the movie well. The trailer didn’t have any audience score yet, so we went in blind, but it turned out to be a really fun comedy-action movie. Plenty of laughs, good action, and no boring parts.
