Josue P @RT26164816 May 19 Rush Hour 2 combines speedy action with large cities shot in very aggressive cinematography to produce an energy that would be impossible if it were not a cinematic aesthetic. With dynamic camera angles, vivid cityscapes and rapid-fire editing that accentuate the comedy as well as the martial arts scenes, many of which keep moving. With a mix of humor, choreography of action beats and ultimate slick lighting, the movie offers an entertaining visual aesthetic that invokes the best vibes of early 2000s action-comedy cinema.
