Giovanni J 07/21/2024 Definitely more of a love-story than I thought as their journey doing DEATH-DEFYING skywalking really places one's trust in another. I actually got quesy when they are skywalking. This documentary is similar to the one where Frenchman Phillipe Petit tight-rope walked across The Twin Towers in NYC in the early 70s just as the buildings were being finished being built. Similar obstacles. Also a movie was made out of that called...The Walk back in 2015 (wow almost 10yrs ago). This movie I saw at the Netflix theater in NYC (The Paris Theater) next to Central Park, but it is NOT an IMAX theater thus disappointed in that. The real IMAX theater near Lincoln Center was already showing other movies. Thus deduct half a star. Excellent movie, especially a DATE movie with your significant other. See more Stone Cold T @Thwompthing Jul 9 Can't stand how people make money and get rich for doing stupid things, especially streamers and vloggers who make money off of people just watching them do those stupid things. People who think they don't need to work for a living are entitled brats. When she said she didn't want to have a "boring life" there's something screwy in her brain. If you have a regular job or career and you think your life is boring then you need actual hobbies outside of work. There is no shame in working 9-5, etc., like everyone else. Stop thinking you're better than the majority of the population who actually work for a living. On that note, this was still worth a watch just to see if they eventually fall to their deaths. That's the most exciting part. It was cool that they showed a few people falling to their demise in some clips :) Also, I'd love to hook up with a gymnast like her. She should film a pron video on a tower. Now that I would watch!!! See more Juz S @juziBoy Jul 8 Well made and well put together. The story reads smoothly, but in my opinion it sugarcoats an extremely dangerous hobby in a way that doesn’t feel critical enough. At the beginning it also comes across like a typical underdog narrative, even though the main character is only chasing adrenaline and nothing more.
