Strictly in terms of generating jumpscares and gross-out moments this is efficient enough as a cinematic machine, but the script credited to four different people including Lauder hasn't got a lot of finesse or subtlety.

Likely one that is purely for the die-hard genre aficionados, Stay Out of the Attic starts well, but gets dragged down by an unfortunate identity crisis along the way.

Stay Out of the Attic will surprise you as film that although heavy on gore and (good) scares, it actually takes the time to give you compelling characters and an interesting plot.

Bastante floja de papeles de principio a fin. Una película de terror sin sustos o sangre es de terror realmente? Creo que no. A su favor tiene que es muy corta así que logra ser pasable de ver (aunque sin disfrutarla mucho).

The "attic" contains a chick from "human centipede", a skinhead, a nazi doc doing experiments, and other racially trite characters in it.

this was bad; i couldn't finish it - so I don't know how it ends. i actually really love the premise, but it was just so terribly done. it's 2021 can we not make better B horror movies than this?

Stay Out of the F**king Attic is a poorly made horror film. It’s very evident that a majority of the budget went to the gore, which is admittedly decent. The acting though is all around terrible, and the camerawork isn’t much better. The characters are also poorly written. I couldn’t care less about any of them. This really felt like a direct to dvd film. The film is very short though, so at least it goes by quickly. Overall, I didn’t like this. I just wanted to have fun with it, but unfortunately it just wasn’t interesting.
