Robert B @robertbraggs 3d This is a must see movie! I left work uncertain whether the government would shut down, unsure how to spend the evening, and ended up wandering into the cold, snow-crusted streets of D.C. in search of something to anchor the time. That search led me to the Festival of Films from Iran at the National Museum of Asian Art. The walk was empty, the air biting, but I felt oddly energized, already on a journey without knowing its destination. The film revealed that same condition: the journey is the treasure because life narrows until movement is all that remains. People persist at the margins, pushed by invisible dreams that rot but still propel them forward. Landscapes become both witness and burial; brief connections flare and vanish; memory loops and forgets. Watching, I saw my own life reflected in their endurance, fears, repetitions, expectations, and realized that survival itself is the only meaning the film offers. People survive. And sometimes, that is enough. See more Read all reviews
