Juliette M @Jules676767 Mar 8 This movie is sooo appealing to the visual and auditory senses. I cried. Poems allow you to express your feelings even when rhe world around you is burning. I love how the movie shows how Amitra and her mom got Mustafa drawings and saved them. Word of mouth advertising at work!! thank you Mr. Khalil for sharing your work with us. SALMA Hayek go girl!! ( she does 👄 talk) See more 07/22/2022 While I found the movie to be rather short and the main story is kept out of focus due to the focus on poetic expressions but overall, The Prophet is a beautifully animated, visually hypnotic film with compelling subject matter & character drama as well as a couple of funny moments (perhaps what happens when the main story is from one of the directors of The Lion King) make this well-intentioned film a good, if not really great, animated film. Lebanon: Let me ask you something; does rent go up here every year? Urainia: Yeah. Lebanon: (gasps) Really? Urainia: Oh yeah. And we have no universal healthcare. Lebanon: No? Urainia: You should've gone to the Ukraine. They have healthcare and are very fashion forward in the cities. Lebanon: Ukraine? Urainia: Yeah. (waves Ukraine Mom over) Tell her what happened to you at the American hospital with your sick child? UkraineMom: (cries) Urainia: (shrugs) See? Lebanon: That's American media's fault. They destroyed Syria. Syria had everything America didn't so America armed Syrians to destroy themselves. UkraineMom: (cont. cry) No no no... Urainia: (to UkraineMom) It's okay. I'm sure your husband's tech contract here will end soon...(to Lebanon) And you chose to come here...Now? Lebanon: At least this is no Lebanon where people don't care how you get rich or beautiful. All they value is pretty rich things. Everyone steals. You can be completely evil-- Urainia: I think you might like exploring LA to really get to know this side of America. Lebanon: Yes, I've heard of LA. It's close. Urainia: On the same coast and yet a whole world away. All the American brands start there. Then as a film itself surrounding the main driving factor besides the delicate, captivating animation, the impeccable cast contributes into that captivation when emotionally energizing the story with subtle heartening strength.
