During World War II, the London bombings force schoolteachers Eve Parkins (Phoebe Fox) and Jean Hogg (Helen McCrory) to evacuate a group of children to Crythin Gifford. When the refugees take shelter at Eel Marsh House, Eve soon comes to realize that they are not alone. The longer they remain there, the more the house's evil spirit threatens the children. With the help of a pilot (Jeremy Irvine), Eve tries to protect the children and uncover the truth behind the Woman in Black.

Jace T @CineChamber Nov 15 I generally like The Woman in Black, and honestly, I generally enjoyed the set up of The Woman in Black 2: Angel of Death. However, this film was overall, sadly, boring, and the jump scares were so silly that it made them less and less enjoyable as the film went on. The kids in this film really don't help the entertainment value, but the main 2 actors do fine. I actually thought this is a different version but no, it's just a sequel. In this one, the two teachers decided to put the children to the isolated house known as Eel Marsh House away from the war but it seemed that the house is haunted and this is where the angel of death comes in. When it comes the horror movies, this is one you can watch in the dark, that is of course if you liked it, I just found it to be all right. I wouldn't say it's that good but holy hell, it's scary. I had the feeling that it's not well praised. I haven't seen the first film with Daniel Radcliffe in it. Either will you avoid it or see it, just don't get confused by it's title whilst you in the store. For me, it's all right but I had a good scare. Looks like many of the recent horror films are not going to be well received by many people at the time.
