Lara Croft is the fiercely independent daughter of an eccentric adventurer who vanished years earlier. Tomb Raider is a step in a the right direction for a genre desperately needing a turn-in critical performance. While nothing to boast about with 34 films in the genre thus far, the 50 percent rating on rotten tomatoes moves the needle up.

Entertaining but bad at the same time. All the characters combined had maybe 10 brain cells when it came to making decisions. Also the whole time it feels like you're just watching a video game that someone combined into a movie.

O maior problema desse filme é que ele é apático, falta emoção, é dificil se conectar com a maior parte desses personagens. A Lara Croft não é uma personagem terrível, mas poderia ser melhor trabalhada pelo roteiro. A atriz fez o que deu e é uma das coisas positivas desse filme. O vilão é genérico demais. No fim, um filme médio.

Understanding that this is a inexperienced Lara...the film still lacked the empathy, courageousness, and intelligence of the previous(Angelina Jolie) films in the franchise. Don't enter this film with any expectations of a true explorer/tomb raider
