What to Know

Critics Consensus

Fueled by Quentin Tarantino's savvy screenplay and a gallery of oddball performances, Tony Scott's True Romance is a funny and violent action jaunt in the best sense.

Carlos 05/18/2025 A stacked star studded roster of actors. A great story with great action. True Romance should be acknowledged more often on how great it is. See more Mr. V @me123227 1d This is on my list of the top 20 movies of all time. The scene with Christopher Walkin and Dennis Hopper is in the top 5 best scenes ever filmed. This movie gave James Gandolfini his start. The scene with him and Patricia is one of the most violent and awesome things ever filmed. I always heard that Elvis was played by Nick Cage, but in reality the part was played by Val Kilmer. All star cast. Written by Quentin Tarantino and he sold it for 50k. Freaking Awesome movie. See more bhoge2000 T @RT02932248 May 23 Idiotic. One of Tarantino's worst See more Leprechaun K @LeprechaunKing May 22 A star studded cast but the story is just unreal and not believable. It is visually stylish without much substance. See more Robert B. @robortz May 20 Great movie. Loved every minute of it. See more Thyaagu C @Thyaagu May 20 A love story that fires bullets and bleeds blood instead of glossy butterflies! See more Read all reviews
