It unfolds like a fairly classy suspense film about a rarely seen threat. It does not look cheap in the way Sharknado did, for instance. It’s quite competently shot and edited, it’s tense, and it’s frightening. In other words, it gets the job done.

One of the most substantive of the many aquatic-attack horror movies that have tried to coast along in the wake of Steven Spielberg’s Jaws… But when the inevitable bloodbath starts, Under Paris seems to be cribbing from much messier shark attack movies.

Los primeros 30-40 minutos donde Under Paris intenta entregar un mensaje ecológico y tirar otras bajadas de linea es cuando fracasa estrepitosamente. Sin embargo pasado ese tramo y cuando se atreve a saltar el tiburón (en este caso literal pasa con tiburón saltando) es cuando la película mejora rotundamente, se olvida hasta de las leyes de la física y se pone full entretenimiento logrando que la ultima hora y pico se pase mas rápido que el principio. Si, es otra fantasiosa shark movie como las que salen varias todos los años pero esta si es digna de ver aunque sea para entretenerse con un poco de cine catástrofe.

Its a cheap Jaws knockoff. The movie was decent until the last 20 minutes. Then it was rather predictable. If you are a fan of shark movies then this will keep you busy even though the script is rather bad.

Yes because as a very professional triathlete I would love to compete in shark infested waters with live shells in it as well oh and did I mention that it would be awesome to have a sniper pointed at my head as I'm at the start line?

Terrible movie, don't watch. This movie portraits humans as a really stupid species. Why would you knowing go into the water with out specialist protective gear, with a dangerous shark. Also, at the end, paris was flooded after a series of explosions in the river, which didn't hold enough water to do so. The only enjoyable part was when the annoying, blue haired, shark activist girl got ate by the sharks.
