I also didn't like the ending of the series with the glamorization of the idea that those with money are immune to any consequences. I also thought it was weak that the couple ended up together, as if all the suffering of Ciara's family was just a drop in the ocean. They sold the series as an erotic thriller, and it's far from having "eroticism" in this series. In short, it promised a lot but delivered less than 40%. Tottaly disappointing. The story was quite captivating, and there were some very clever moments. Whenever I thought a plot was going in a too simple direction, it took a turn and revealed a new layer. Kept me interested the whole way through. And the casting was fantastic. The leads and supporting cast all delivered excellent performances, and they had great chemistry with each other.
