Tom C @RT57512438 3d Great Movie, great music and Dwight Yoakam AND Tim McGraw in the same movie. The lead Juno Temple is awesome, like in Ted Lasso she is stellar. So many great stars doing great performances. Milla Jovovich stands out as the mom of Juno. And don't forget Mary Steenburgen!! While I enjoyed the unlikely friendship between the 2 main characters, the other relationships in this movie were awful. The heart of the story got lost in the ugliness all around them, including cringe-worthy language and unhealthy dynamics. I understand it was a different time, but a lot of the script felt unnecessary. If you can sludge through all the muck, there is something beautiful there, and Juno Temple is a great actress, despite this, but I just couldn't fall in love like I hoped. Lots of great music integrated perfectly into the film. Quirky, fun, quasi-road movie. If you open your mind, very enjoyable and entertaining movie. I laughed out loud numerous times at very clever bits and was surprisingly touched by some of the more serious aspects of the film.
