As deeply unserious Deadloch can be, it also tackles serious topics with a sharpness and cleverness that balances out really well. Go to Full Review

This is one croc-and-bull story that’s funny, at times silly, but also decidedly worthwhile. Go to Full Review

The blistering finale of this big and bolshie show will prove (once again) that co-creators Kate McLennan and Kate McCartney are some of the most exciting creatives working in Australian TV today. Go to Full Review

The second season of Deadloch continues to be a darkly funny series with a fun pair of mismatched detectives who strangely work very well together. Go to Full Review

Jeffrey R @RT00333012 4d This show would be a lot more enjoyable if not for the main characters constant yelling and or screaming at each other. Love the plot and especially the dialog but calm down on the raised voices ladies. See more Laura H @MrsBulsara 4d What is with all of the yelling?! The characters are constantly talking or yelling over one another and it is annoying. I know it is a plot device, but it is way overused. I had to stop watching after episode 4 because I could not take it. Also, Dulcie is so passive that at this point in her career and personal life she should grow a spine. Every episode is about how put upon she is, enough already. Eddie is annoying in another way. She is so loud and juvenile, grow up. The same can be said about Cath. She is so capable in community engagement, but so juvenile and needy in her personal life. The men are all variations on misogynistic jerks and the women are immature and they all yell too much. See more Taffy W. @Stephanietheboomer 5d I was worried that season 2 wouldn't be as good as the first. It's still a great show. Mystery, comedy, drama...even a bit of geography. See more Robert P. @randallstephens 6d Season 2 is a bit of a disappointment compared with S1. The chemistry between Dulcie and Eddie is not as strong, and Eddie’s arc doesn’t seem true to such an original character. The pacing is frenetic, losing some great lines and moments. A major part of the plot is sloppily resolved too early, losing tension and interest. All that said, it’s still a fun and original ride and worth the time. Supporting characters are good. Funny writing and decent story. Just far from the high bar set by S1. See more Rob D. @RobDuncan 6d Even better than the first. What a finale! Too bad this is the end of the series but thankful for the two we got! See more Alain E @AlainE Mar 26 Season 2 dialed up the weirdness to 11 and I lost interest pretty quickly.
