Well, "Harbinger Down" is their kickback against what happened & very much a movie made out of anger, from a team trying to prove a point. It's a Kickstarter movie & it shows. It's shot like a movie that on budget & time restrictions, as would should've been promo for the teams practical creature effects created from animatronics, stop motion & miniature effects, is shot in a manner that doesn't allow their work to live on screen. I had no problem with the dialogues being stupid, the actors being mediocre at best, the plot being written by a 10-year-old ("hey we have a space creature on the boat, let's open it without any protective clothing, or any protective measures at all") - but the special effects were actually not at all convincing, rather looked cheap.
