A surefire contender for one of the worst Christmas movies ever made, this painfully unfunny comedy is filled with characters and behaviors so thoughtless and misguided that it's flat-out insulting.

Though we don’t get to know everybody very well, they work as an ensemble, creating a believable family dynamic – chihuahua included.

I honestly don’t understand how Mariana Treviño read the script and thought participating in this movie was a good idea. I love her to death, but this was one of the worst movies I’ve ever seen. Aside from Mariana, the acting was terrible. The script and editing were all horrible.

This movie was cute. Was the script generated via an AI prompt that went something along the lines of, "take Meet the Faulkers," but make it full of hispanic american tropes and in no way infringes on copyright? Probably. But i still enjoyed it. As a gringa who also once lived in New Mexico, i also really appreciated the low rider and attending rosencranz and gildenstern. Was also shocked to see George Lopez, who is funny, charming, and carries the film. It’s a cute movie worth a watch w those you love.

The Actors were actually fine but the direction and editing was bad. I am Hispanic so I also felt that the jokes about Mexican people were not done in the correct way to be funny. I sat through this with the residents of the nursing home I work with and dang was it a difficult watch. I was hoping for something better for the holiday season at work but this movie didn't help.
