Pedro G @m3pedro 59m This is the kind of movie that hits different on a big IMAX screen vs. watching it on a ipad or something. Watching this on a massive screen with high quality audio is what really sucks you in. The filmakers did an amazing job immersing you in the environment. The sound in this movie is as amazing as the visuals. Story wise, it doesn't fall into the trap of most "racing documentaries" which is dropping a ton of exposition about what your seeing, It lets you sort of fall into the meditative experience of a long 24hour race with everything at stake. In a lot of ways, they do a better job at presenting a more artistic cinematic take on the 24hrs of LeMans than Steve Mcqueen was able to do with his avant guard aproach to his movie. Honestly this is a must see for any racing fan, but any viewer will also be able to escape reality and enjoy the movie. Just long enough to tell the story but not long enough to bore your partner that doesnt care about racing. Fantastic story, great moments, and when you leave the theater you are left to draw your own conclusions about how to understand the feelings that were displayed by the characters and by yourself. The film work for being an independent film more than rivals the big dogs. The film will be released February 20th. Highly recommend this if you’re a motorsports fan or just the average Joe. See more maritza m 2d If this is available for you in your area you should really take the time to go see it. In the IMAX it felt amazing to literally be in the driver seat. To enjoy the engine noise of the Porsche that Felipe was in. To be living in the moment and thoughts of a race car driver for the time of the film was great. Race fan or not you need to go enjoy it, it was fantastic. Film will release nation wide on the 20th of February. Thank you to the filmmakers and directors for putting us in the moment. It meant a lot to the race fans that filled the theater. They took amazing shots in Le Mans, of locations where race fans dont go. Shots that bring you out of the dark with each passing car.
