Director Lana Wilson captures the isolationism of the psyche as it plays out in Hannah Buck’s spot on editing. The film is reminiscent of the style of documentarian Frederick Wiseman, and that is great praise.

Honestly, most of these people struck me as carnival cold readers. I think this would be much more interesting with a different group of psychics. I do agree with the woman who said "it's the healers who need the most healing". It does seem like these psychics need more therapy than their customers.

Loved how it explores loss. People see psychics because they are looking for deeper meaning. Most of us realize there is a deeper meaning, but don't explore the depths. These folks dive right in. So admirable. My favorite part was when she said "because you could handle it".

A waste of six dollars. I was really, really disappointed in this documentary. I should have read the reviews outside of rotten tomatoes first. I am really interested in the subject matter, but this was just a boring nothing burger of a documentary. It had no structure, it felt very haphazard. I didn’t relate to any of the “psychics“.Do not recommend.
