The dancing is the best part of Lena Khan’s Best of the Best, but it’s also strangely vestigial for a film about a Bollywood fusion troupe. It ends up strangely divorced from the ensuing comedy and drama, which feel both haphazard and outdated.

Plays as if the teen classic "Bring It On" or something like "Step Up" were about competitive Bollywood dancing instead of cheerleading and hip-hop dancing, respectively. It's got heart and laughs to boot. It's a real crowd-pleaser!
