Lucas G @Floral_emissions 23 min ago The writing is awful, with this over the top "sassy" one liners , added to the lack of accuracy in the period depiction (what the hell was that haircut on the german maid? 😅) with all the most illiterate cliches about the 19th century, gives zero sense of authenticity to what is supposed to be biographical and keeps reminding me that i am loosing my time watching it. The worst Monster season by far. Childish and just bad. To begin with it has too much fantasy as a back story, like waaaay too much! It's like the creators can not comprehend why this woman would kill and they were trying to show us why but with made up stories, like when Lizzie's mom kills her doves. And on one last note: I have nothing against the actresses but if we can see in the pictures that Lizzie was not a skinny woman, why would you cast someone that doesn't look at all like her? Why the media always has to put beautiful skinny people to get more rating? I know that's the way it works but I just wanted to mention it because it was the first thing that bothered me.
