Every element was predictable. But sometimes we don't need twists, turns, and intrigue. The straightforwardness allowed for more time to let the characters breathe. And while motivations of the characters were also rather cliche, the main team was able breathe life into them. Acting was a little wooden and awkward at times, but first seasons are often about everyone finding their footing, but again, enough to breathe life into their characters. Without a heavy-hitter presence to anchor it, the series collapses under the weight of its own boring tropes and uninspired writing. An absolute waste of time that completely misses the mark.
