The threads of the plot came together really well the last few episodes. They were well set up in the first few. The dark turn by Eddie, was a good character arc move. And the series aluded to ethics notably a few times. Superb dialogue. See more in2itivelady T @RT32523951 23 hrs ago The best part about this series is the absolutely electric cast led by Theo James and Kaya Scodelario, with some stellar contributions by Ray Winstone, Vinnie Jones (in his best ever role), Joely Richardson and Daniel Ings among others. The chemistry carries the series through some of the more derivative moments, and keeps things fresh and compelling. The second season broadens the world, but it still feels like we’re living on the same planet (no stolen VCRs to international bank heists à la F&F). Is it Guy Ritchie’s most innovative work? Probably not (it’s a bit heavy handed with the Godfather references), but it does feel like his best balance in some time of strong performances, comedy, crime and consequence.
